Accounts Receivable Specialist

Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to our expanding St. Louis office. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for: reviewing accounts receivable balances, managing invoice appeals, processing monthly client statements, working with clients that have delinquent balances, and more! Successful candidates will have a durable work ethic, superior ability to multitask, and enjoy working in a fast pace and intellectually stimulating setting.

Responsibilities:

• Processing monthly client statements
• Contacting clients on delinquent balances
• Working on invoice appeals
• Posting cash receipts
• Reviewing accounts receivable balances with responsible attorneys
• Processing write offs
• Manage billing procedures

Skills and Specifications:

• Strong technical skills and knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written communication skills
• Knowledge or familiarity of accounts receivable procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
• Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to be self-sufficient in prioritizing tasks
• Ability to deal professionally and effectively with both clients and attorneys
• Ability to analyze routine accounting tasks

Education and Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience handling collections
• Highschool Diploma/GED required
• Experience in managing general accounting tasks and duties
