File Clerk

Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add a temporary, part-time File Clerk to our Kansas City office. Candidates must be responsible, have the ability to be self-sufficient, possess the ability to keep electronic files organized, and have the ability to scan and destroy paper documents. We are looking for someone with the ability to complete and manage their own work. This is a temporary, project-based position with an average of around twenty hours a week.

What you'll do:

As a File Clerk, you will have the opportunity to provide excellent administrative support to your team of attorneys, paralegals, and clients.

• Record Keeping: Scan, organize, and maintain all electronic records and files.
• Clerical Support: Review, scan, and shred paper documents in order to maintain digital filing.

What we're looking for:

• Ability to scan and upload documents into a digital filing system
• Must be physically able to lift file boxes & shred scanned paperwork
• Ability to be a self-starter and manage your project-based tasks

Education and Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
